Presented by Tim Browning KB3NPH

Ham Radio Deluxe LogoHam Radio Deluxe (HRD) is an integrated suite of software products for amateur radio.  The five modules in the suite provide rig control, logging, digital communications, satellite tracking, and rotator control.

Tim Browning of Ham Radio Deluxe will be coming to us via Skype to talk about the latest developments in this widely used software package.

About Tim Browning

If you’ve ever contacted Ham Radio Deluxe, chances are you’ve come in contact with Tim. As part of the HRD team, Tim is the technical connection to the HRD user community. You’ll find many great comments about Tim’s excellent support and customer service to Ham Radio Deluxe users in the eHAM.com Product Reviews for Ham Radio Deluxe.

Once known as “Smokestack" to his CB buddies during his many years as an over-the-road truck driver, he became KB3NPH in May of 2006, after years of badgering from his brother-in-law, Erick (N8XEN) who recently became a Silent Key after losing his battle with cancer.  For more information about Tim and his ham radio activities, visit his website at www.kb3nph.com

Tim’s interest in Ham Radio Deluxe began in late 2006, or early 2007 when he was looking for a logging program.  In 2012 he became active with the current owners of HRD Software LLC as a beta tester and went on helping others with the software on the HRD Support Forums, and in February of 2013 he was asked to join the HRD team’s Technical Support Staff.

Today, when you call HRD by phone, send an e-mail or open a support ticket, chances are you are going to receive an answer from Tim, known now as “Kilo Bravo 3 <N>o <P>roblem <H>ere.

The HRD support hours are 10am to 4pm, Mon – Fri., EST, however, for our friends and customers unable to contact us during those hours, Tim is always willing to set up an appointment to work after hours or on weekends.  To set up an appointment for after-hours support, just send an e-mail to This email address is being protected from spambots.
