"All About NBEMS"

presented by Jim Brown, W5ZIT

Jim Brown, W5ZIT, will give a presentation on using Narrow Band Emergency Message Software. This software is an add-on to the digital mode program "fldigi" and provides a means of transmitting ICS and other emergency management forms during an emergency or public service event using digital modes on HF or VHF/UHF. Jim's presentation will includes a live demonstration.

We also have some great raffle prizes this month. One of our prizes will be a Raspberry PI - a credit card sized computer board that plugs into a TV. It's a miniature ARM-based PC that can perform many of the functions of a large desktop PC such as spreadsheets, word-processing, and games. It also plays HD video. AK2L will give a demonstration of the PI.
