Items that may be of interest to Members & others

As a public service to our members and others in the greater Tucson Amateur Radio Community, we will occasionally post items here of greatly varying nature but which are of general interest to amatuers. Any posting herein is done at the strict discretion of the OVARC Board and Webmaster.

 

OVARC neither endorses, guarantees or warrants anythng posted on this page and the viewer and/or prospective benefactor of any of these items assumes all risk, financial or otherwise, from any transfer resulting from information gained herein.

When items appear on this page, it is usually being done to assist the family of a Silent Key or other party who has a a piece of General Amatuer radio equipment that they do not want for any one of a host of reasons.  Many times OVARC cannot assist with items such as towers or other equipment which is too old, cumbersom or impractical to sell or remove of by other more traditional means.  OVARC only wishes to act as a conduit for such activities.

Tower Donation to OVARC

Recently, a Rohn HBX style tower was offered to OVARC as a donation.  As you know, OVARC does not do any tower erection, removal or maintenance of antennas atop these structures.  OVARC is solititing inquiries from any members or others who might be interested in this piece of equipment.

NOTE: THIS TOWER, ANTENNAS, ROTATOR AND ALL OTHER PARTSARE BEING OFFERED "AS IS" WITH NO GUARANTEES.  BUYER ASSUMES ALL RISK, COST OF REMOVAL AND WILL INDEMNIFY CURRENT OWNER FOR ANY DAMAGES TO PROPERTY AS A RESULT OF REMOVAL.

 

To be clear, OVARC, a 501(c)(3) organization, has no pecuninary interest in this item and is only faciltating a connection between the owner and an interested party who may desire to acquire item(s) and remove them from his property.  Although originally offered as a donation to OVARC, there is no expectation of a donation in any from to OVARC as a result of this item being removed.
