Ham License Testing

License Testing
 
When:
Testing occurs on the same night as OVARC club meetings, at 17:30 pm local time.
FLASH !! FLASH !! FLASH !! FLASH !! FLASH !! FLASH !!
An additional License testing session has been added at the OVARC Hamfest Saturday November 9, 2024 at 10:00am local time in room 1 at the Marana Middle School !!
You must have an FCC assigned FRN to take an FCC test !
Don't know if you have one or what it is?
You can search the FCC database by Last Name here.
(Change the "Find By" to "Last Name", enter your last name and click "Search".)

All test sessions begin promptly at 17:30 pm local time.
NOTE: Late arrivals may not be seated for the test.

Anyone with special needs, please contact us at  licensing@tucsonhamradio.org a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the test date. We will do everything we can to accommodate you.

Cost: The ARRL testing fee is $15.00. Cash only !  (Exact change appreciated as the VEs can not always make change.)

NOTE: Licenses earned are granted by the FCC on the next business day.  You cnnot use your new priveledges until you confirm the grant has been made by the FCC !!

OVARC Monthly Meetings follow license testing 19:00pm Local time and all applicants are invited to join us in Room A207 after the testing ends!
