Raspberry Pi and "Pi-Star" Software
This SIG is for anything related to using a Raspberry Pi micro computer for setting up and using Digital "HotSpots". Most of the Pi-based HotSpots run Andy Taylor's (MWØMWZ) excellent "Pi-Star" software, which has been customized and optimized for Digital-modes HotSpot use. ZUMSpot, JumboSpot, DVMEGA, SharkRF, etc.
There are a wide variety of devices that can be used with the different models of Raspberry Pi computer to create a digital-modes "HotSpot". Some are DIY, while others, like the SharkRF OpenSpot are turnkey, ready to go out of the box, with only minor configuration changes in the Pi-Star software required to get them up and running.
