The next Technician license class will be held at Pima Community College's downtown campus.
What
Amateur Radio Technician License Class
This class focuses on passing the entry-level FCC test.
When
Saturdays from 1:00pm to 4:00pm starting April 20

Pima Community College

Building RV, room 101

Class Fees
The class is free. After the class, there is a $15 fee for the license test, and the Federal Communications Commission charges $35 for the license application. Licenses are good for 10 years.
Class Book
"The ARRL Ham Radio License Manual" / ISBN 978-1625951557
This book is required before the first meeting as there will be a reading assignment due for April 20th. It can be ordered from Amazon.

To register, send a message to LICENSING@TUCSONHAMRADIO.ORG with your contact information.
At the end of the class, OVARC will arrange for an FCC test for the students.
